Job description:
As part of our development, we are recruiting a Multicam Live Director on a permanent basis, capable of ensuring the technical production of our lives in the studio as well as on the move.
This position is for a pure technical profile, passionate about control, precise, reliable, and at ease in the world of live multicam. You will intervene in the studio (from our sets) as well as on events deployed on customer sites with our mobile control room. You will be part of a team composed of sound technicians, video technicians and experienced project managers.
Missions:
Under the coordination of a project manager or technical manager, you will be in charge of:
- Prepare the control room configurations and the sets according to the live briefs transmitted
- Control live production in multi-camera from a set or on a mobile control room (Tricaster or ATEM depending on configuration)
- Supervise the installation and synchronization of video equipment (cameras, NDI streams, set returns, live broadcast)
- Ensure transitions, media sequencing, integration of skins and overlays (via TriCaster, macros, DDR, etc.)
- Guarantee the stability, fluidity and cleanliness of the broadcast flow (YouTube, LinkedIn Live, Teams Live, Zoom, etc.)
- Manage pre-live tests, technical rehearsals, recordings and post-event exports
- Participate in the maintenance, storage and repair of the company's equipment fleet.
You will intervene both on highly prepared technical services in the studio and on mobile control events in environments that are sometimes complex and challenging.
Prerequisites for the position:
Equipment and technical environment
Among other things, you will work with:
- Sony AW-UE100 PTZ cameras (4K, NDI HX)
- TriCaster TC2 Elite control unit (LivePanel, DDR, macros)
- Full NDI network, LiveGraphics skins
- Dante ecosystem, Yamaha QL1/QL5 consoles
- Network operator stations (real, media, broadcast, monitoring)
- Hybrid environments, sometimes including Unreal Engine sessions (XR studio)
Our studios are designed for smooth and efficient capture, with optimized internal cabling, multiple video/sound feedback and control room comfort that promotes concentration and the quality of the rendering.
Profile wanted
- Audiovisual education or equivalent experience
- Experience in live multicam technical control (Tricaster, ATEM, vMix or equivalent)
- Comfortable with NDI workflows, Dante, audio/video sync, signal management (SDI/HDMI)
- Control of transitions, effects, inserts, picture-in-picture, broadcast macros
- Rigor, method, reliability in live contexts (tight timing, fine technical coordination)
- Experience in a production studio is a real plus
- B license appreciated for travel
This position does not include a direct customer relationship: you work in technical support of project managers who ensure the commercial and editorial interface.
